Payment Processing — What You Should Know
💳 Credit Card Processing & FSA
EsyPet’s integrated payments — including the checkout your clients use to pay for grooming services, whether you’re on a monthly plan or Pay As You Go — are processed through our payments partner, FSA (fsacquiring.com). To accept credit and debit card payments from pet parents through EsyPet, salons and independent groomers are required to complete a merchant account signup with FSA.
Standard card processing fees apply to transactions run through EsyPet, in addition to your software fee (whether that’s your monthly plan or your per-appointment rate). This is true for every EsyPet plan, including Pay As You Go.
Current processing rate: FILL IN % + FILL IN ¢ per transaction. Rates are set by FSA and may vary based on card type and transaction method (card-present vs. online). Full rate details are provided during FSA merchant onboarding.
We believe in being upfront about this: choosing Pay As You Go lowers your software commitment, but standard payment processing fees still apply to any card transaction run through the platform, just as they would with any point-of-sale or booking system.
