As legal counsel to ESyPet, Leshan supports the company’s legal strategy, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management as it develops technology connecting pet owners with grooming professionals. His work helps establish the legal and governance framework necessary to support ESyPet’s growth, protect the company, and foster trust among its users and business partners.

Leshan previously served as Assistant General Counsel at American International Group (AIG), advising on international legal matters, data privacy, technology agreements, and regulatory compliance. He also served as a Deputy Attorney General for Hawaii and as a Captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, advising senior leaders on legal, operational, and regulatory matters.

His experience also includes advising healthcare organizations on corporate governance, HIPAA compliance, and data privacy. This background is particularly relevant to technology businesses balancing innovation, responsible data management, and evolving legal obligations.
